The real question shows up when you are tired, hurting, or watching someone you love suffer: does God still heal today, and if he does, why does healing look so different from person to person? We also pray for healing that goes deeper than symptoms, including mental and emotional healing, because what happens in the mind often shapes what happens in the body.
