George Kane interviewed Janet Conn, President of Compassion and Choices Minnesota and Rebecca Thoman, M.D., State Campaign Manager for Minnesota  Iowa Compassion and Choices. We discussed the Minnesota Compassionate Care Act, introduced two years ago. Minnesota Atheists has a public policy favoring aid in dying for the terminally ill. Go to mnatheists.org and click on the 'Info' tab on the navigation bar and select public policies from the drop-down menu. To review the Minnesota Compassionate Care Act go to CompassionandChoices.org or to the Minnesota state legislature web page and search for the act (http:// www.leg.state.mn.us/leg/legis.) This bill will only pass if everyone talks to their legislator, particularly when they are knocking on your door this election season asking for your vote.
