Welcome back to Bruce & The Bear! Chris "The Bear" Fallica and Bruce Feldman kick off this episode with a deep dive into the marquee matchup between #5 Ohio State and #14 Iowa. They examine whether Buckeyes sophomore quarterback Julian Sayin can step up and prove he can win on the biggest stage.
Next, Bruce and Bear share the latest health update on Oregon quarterback Dante Moore following his recent injury scare. They debate whether backup QB Dylan Raiola, after his clutch performance leading the Ducks past USC, should hang onto the starting job moving forward.
The guys then turn up the heat with a comprehensive Hot Seat round-up. Bruce and Bear analyze the coaching pressure building around Lincoln Riley, Brent Venables, Shane Beamer, Sonny Dykes, and Mike Locksley.
Attention then shifts to a high-octane SEC matchup featuring a dynamic quarterback duel: Kamario Taylor leading #16 Mississippi State against Keelon Russell and #7 Alabama. Bruce and Bear break down the tape, look at the state of North Carolina football, and discuss why the school has rapidly lost patience with head coach Bill Belichick. Before stepping into betting territory, they explore how early-season perceptions often shift dramatically as the year unfolds.
Finally, Geoff Schwartz and Sammy Panayotovich join Bear for "The Walkthrough" to bring you inside the sportsbook walls. The trio breaks down three major sharp angles:
- Is #8 Florida primed for a letdown spot against #25 Missouri?
- How Oregon's QB situation is impacting Vegas
- Why the Vegas wiseguys are quietly taking a long hard look at Arizona.
