A desert season can be defined as a fairly intense season marked by spiritual dryness, is fairly isolated in occurrence, and where the presence of the Lord feels distant. In many regards the desert season is all about the heart, for the Lord to use to reveal, restore, and release the heart. There are often lengthy seasons of preparation in the desert for God's people. God took me to the desert where I could not provide for myself and said, "Now I am going to take over feeding you."
