Dr. Danielle Boyd is our incredible guest today. She is a veterinarian in the middle of her ophthalmology residency in San Antonio, Texas. She is known for being the amazing human companion to a beautiful dog named Squish whose story has gone completely viral through The Dodo, Rachael Ray, and many other features in print, social media, and television. Squish’s story began as a puppy when he suffered blunt force trauma to the head. With the help of rescue organizations and surgeons, they saved Squish’s life. He lost an eye and lives with a famously crooked jaw, which his fans cannot stop sharing about through photos, videos, and news articles. Some of his fans even share original drawings and other artwork! A lot of animals would not have survived this far in the journey.
