Thomas Fuller once said: "All things are difficult before they are easy." Think back to the first time you tried something new. Maybe it was riding a bicycle, driving a car, learning a language, starting a business, or even recording your first presentation or podcast. At first, it probably felt awkward. You made mistakes. You wondered if you'd ever get the hang of it. But with practice, something remarkable happened. The difficult became familiar. What once required all of your concentration eventually became second nature. That's how growth works. Every expert was once a beginner. Every accomplished musician once struggled with simple scales. Every successful entrepreneur once faced uncertainty. Every confident speaker once battled nerves. The beginning is supposed to be hard. The challenge isn't a sign that you're failing. It's a sign that you're learning. So here's the question: What skill or goal have you been avoiding simply because it's difficult right now? Remember, today's struggle could become tomorrow's strength. Stay with it long enough, and what feels difficult today may one day feel effortless. That's going to do it for today.
