30 teams, 30 days: The Sacramento Kings Are Building Something...But Is It Any Good?

In Episode 17, Ahmed and David are joined by @thebigwafe for the inaugural episode of our new series, Model Wars! This series will juxtapose The 5th Factor's models against some of the leading public draft modelers, as we talk through the 2026 class, projected returners, potential pitfalls and plans for improvement with the next cycle looming. In this episode, we discuss the commonalities of Graves, Caleb, Flemings & Wagler performing well in our models, some contradicting rankings of Steinbach, Quadir & more, plus dive into the '27 returners and our biggest lessons for our future ventures in modeling. Wafe also drops an insanely deep cut for the 2027 class!

The Fifth Factor Ep 17: The Inaugural Episode of Model Wars | featuring DMX creator, Big Wafe!

Episode 16 is Part 1 of a larger discussion of The 5th Factor's learnings from attending summer showcases over the last couple weeks. We discuss our Summer League takeaways, from Meleek Thomas & Brayden Burries scaling up to Quadir Copeland & Nate Bittle so seamlessly scaling down, Morez Johnson's complete metamorphosis, Darryn Peterson's rim aversion, the dreadful context of the Bulls' Summer League team & SL vets who might've unfortunately shut the door on their NBA careers.
Part 2 (EYBL thoughts) will be posted in the next couple days!
