A former Massachusetts police officer is on trial for the alleged murder of 23-year-old Sandra Birchmore, whose death was initially ruled a suicide. Federal prosecutors accuse Matthew Farwell of strangling Birchmore, who was pregnant at the time, and staging the scene to cover up years of alleged grooming and sexual exploitation.

Law & Crime reporter and Scandal host Sierra Gillespie joins to discuss the evidence, conflicting medical findings, allegations of police misconduct, and what could determine the outcome of Farwell's trial.
