Advocacy is exhausting. It demands your energy, passion, and unrelenting focus. It requires you to forgo daily priorities and neglect yourself in pursuit of a greater good. And it’s worth it, because the Palestinian people deserve peace and justice.But in the middle of these moments of crisis, it’s crucial to take care of yourself and maintain extra acts of ‘ibadah. In a dunya filled with suffering and injustice, it’s only in the remembrance of Allah that your heart will find rest.
