Your Healing Playground - Dr. Tina Koopersmith  IMPACT: I Matter. You Matter. We ALL Matter. Lessons from Kenya on Abundance, Gratitude & the Power of Presence I traveled to Kenya hoping to make an IMPACT. I returned realizing how profoundly Kenya impacted ME. From courageous students sharing their voices to conversations about second chances, menstrual equity, gratitude, and the richness of human connection, I was reminded that IMPACT is a two-way street. What does it mean to make an IMPACT? I — INSPIRE through interconnectedness M — MATTER. I matter. You matter. P — PRESENCE. Transform pain into purpose and power. A — ACTIVATE your superpowers. Acknowledge, accept, and achieve. C — CONNECT with care, compassion, and curiosity. T — TUNE IN. TURN ON. TRUST. Join me on Your Healing Playground Podcast as we explore how to live with greater abundance, gratitude, and intention. 5 Key Takeaways Living authentically begins with noticing whether your choices come from your own inner alignment or from the expectations and voices of others. Caring for yourself includes the fundamentals of rest, hydration, nourishing food, movement, time outdoors, and activities that genuinely restore your energy. You do not need a large platform to make an impact, because a sincere conversation, encouraging word, or moment of presence can influence someone’s life. Painful experiences can become sources of purpose, creativity, and wisdom when you acknowledge what happened without allowing the old story to define you. The more you accept and celebrate who you are, the more energy you have to connect, contribute, and create a life that feels fully alive. Your presence is a present. Your presence matters. And sometimes the greatest impact we make is allowing ourselves to be impacted by others.
